Our Physician Team

We are committed to providing all of our patients with the most complete ophthalmic services available. Our providers offer expert comprehensive eye care and surgical services. It is their goal to provide each patient with exceptionally individualized attention through detailed eye exams. Each provider is highly trained to treat all eye conditions, and most have additional fellowship training in ophthalmic sub-specialties. Progressive Eye Care advocates that all children have a complete exam by a Pediatric Ophthalmologist prior to the age of 4.

Patricia L. Davis, M.D.

Dr. Davis is a native of rural Rhode Island. After attending Brown University as an undergraduate she received her degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Scheie Eye Institute/University of Pennsylvania. In the two years following here residency, she practiced General Ophthalmology privately while teaching residents at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In order to better serve her areas of interest, Dr. Davis completed two sub-specialty fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology, as well as Neuro-Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky. After completion of her training, she has been practicing in the Chicagoland area. Committed to teaching, Dr. Davis is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. Dr. Davis’s main private practice is currently located in Lisle, IL. She also practices Ophthalmology at Aurora Eye Clinic and sees pediatric patients in Oak Lawn on the Christ Hospital campus. **Dr. Davis also fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Smith is a dedicated and experienced optometrist who offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Known for her thorough and personalized eye exams, she is committed to ensuring optimal vision and eye health for every patient she serves. Dr. Smith received her doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She specializes in fitting a wide range of contact lenses, including rigid gas permeable (RGP), spherical, toric, multifocal, mono-vision, and keratoconus specialty fittings. Dr. Smith also provides advanced solutions for patients with high prescriptions and those who are traditionally considered “hard to fit”, helping them achieve both comfort and clear vision. With a focus on compassionate service and clinical excellence, Dr. Smith is passionate about helping her patients maintain lifelong eye health and clear vision.
